Research on Remote Demonstration of STL File

Based on analyzing STL(StereoLithography) files,a conclusion can be got,that,STL data is redundant in depicting model topology.A new data format called T is design to reduce the data redundant,and the method to transform STL into T is researched in the paper too.Secondly,graphic system in client side to browse T model is developed with Java3D techniques.Then,STL model can be browsed conveniently since it can be translate into T format.The research in the paper provide a tool for integrate rapid prototype and collaborative design.
