A New Algorithm of Cross-Seperation for Pulp Fiber

The effective measurement of characters of pulp fiber is directly related to the quality of finished paper.To measure the length of pulp fiber correctly,this paper gives a new cross-seperation algorithm of pulp fiber based on digital image processing,which resolves the problem about a serious error in the measurement of single fiber length parameter not to measure two cross-fibers.Both the results of cross-fiber seperation and large amount of data by Visual C++ show the accuracy and robustness of the algorithm.
