Analysis and Design of A New Broadband Network Radio

In this paper, the progress of broadband network radio is presented and a realizable scheme provided. Some key technologies are investigated, including modulation/demodulation, forward error correction(FEC), medium access control(MAC) and power amplifier. In the light of analysis and comparison, the technology system based upon OFDM, Turbo convolutional code, STDMA and digital predistortion is determined. Finally, the function block diagram of prototype machine, the modular hardware architecture design and the software protocol model are given.
