Evaluationmethods for document interoperability testing based on function point paths

MU Yong-mi · Journal of Tsinghua University(Science and Technology) · 2014

Solutions were proposed based on document format standards,set-up of function point demand models, and design of document interoperability test evaluation methods to solve the problems in document interoperability testing that the function point partition granularity is not unified, with the test coverage rate being hard to measure and the workload on regression testing being heavy. The metrics of document format standards change index, test coverage rate, and correlation between test cases were defined to develop the qualitative estimation into a quantitative measurement system in the manual test, with the visibility of testing process improved. The results show that the proposed method can improve the document interoperability testing efficiency, ensuring the quality of testing and promoting the understanding, control and prediction of the document interoperability process.
