UML application framework for embedded digital instrumentation software

An object-oriented and component technology based application framework meta-model was proposed for embedded digital instrumentation(DI) in order to improve the reusability and efficiency of software development.A series of configurable general component libraries and special component libraries for the DI field were designed.Then the design model and the corresponding application framework were given,and described with unified modeling language(UML).The automatic meter reading system(AMRS) framework proved the efficient reusability of embedded DI software systems by the application framework.
