Chaotic Behaviors for a Class of Subshifts of Finite Type

For any k≥2,the subshift of finite type is determined by the k×k 0-1 matrix Ak=(aij),where aij=1 if and only if i=k or j=i+1.By establishing the topologically conjugate relation between such a subshift and an interval map restricted to some invariant set and using a known result,we prove that the subshift is distributively chaotic.
