The data source of data warehouse is the transaction data,which is filled into data warehouse through extraction、trans- formation and loading.The technology of data extraction、transformation and loading was researched and implemented.First, a detail discussion about the key problems and their methods of the ETL was shown.And the tools of ETL in MS SQL server 2000 were discussed as examples.On this basis,detail narration of the implement of ETL was supplied in the instance of the loading into data warehouse of the phone call data of telecom.Finally the problems that must be paid attention to in the process of ETL were put forward.
