Study on the SDG-Based Intelligent Fault Diagnosis Method

An SDG(Signed directed graph)-based intelligent fault diagnosis method is presented. This method firstly establishes the SDGs of the system and its components, simplifies these SDGs corresponding to the fault modes needing to be diagnosed, then expands the diagnosing rule bank with logical operators to construct the diagnosing rule bank of the system. By simplifying the quantitative values of the system's variables into qualitative values, the constructed rules can be used for comparison, and the qualitative diagnostic results of fault modes can be acquired in the diagnosis.;
