A study on the selection of intellectual property protection methods in professional business services

With the service industry turning more and more knowledge intensive and innovation intensive,the problem of intellectual property protecion in this industry is becoming more important day by day.However,researches in this field are still in great lack.This paper studies the IP protection in professional business services.On the basis of relevant researches and the results of a muti-case analysis,three typical types of IP and seven main kinds of IP protection methods are presented and an empirical analysis on the effectiveness of these IP protection methods is conducted.This paper aims to providing direct theoretical guidance for the IP protection practices of professional business service firms,and enlarging current researches in IP protecion field.
