The image approach to solve the electric potential of a line charged and a grounded conductor with the protruded semicylinder

The electric field of a line charged and a grounded conductor with the protruded semicylinder is calculated by the image method.The distributions of electric potential and charge density as well as electric field density are obtained.The electric potential map is plotted by using the software Matlab.
