Testing Method and Application of Dating Shallow Groundwater with SF_6

Groundwater age,especially the young groundwater age,is an important parameter.The testing method of dating young groundwater with SF6 is designed and installed.It is unitized in two parts:distilling system and testing system.The former system is made up of stripper,silicone tube,freezing and enrichment trap,six-way valve,ten-way valve,high-purity nitrogen tube.The latter is a gas-phase chromatographic apparatus with electronic catcher detector.By condition experiment,the standard error of this testing method is 1.77%,the minimum of detecting SF6 is 1.0×10-12.Only 10.0 mL air is needed in determining the SF6 of air,and 1.0 L water in determining the SF6 in the ground water.Besides,the shallow groundwater in Shijiazhuang city is dated by the program of calculating SF6 age.
