The Optimal Design of Clipping Rate In DMT Systems

Based on the analysis of clipping noise and quantisation noise in Discrete Multitone(DMT) systems, criterions and methods to optimize the clipping rate in DMT systems are presented in this paper. The simulation results show that the performance is better or the complexity is lower after the clipping rate optimization under different criterions.
