Efficient Multichannel and Edge Information Based on Stereo Matching Algorithm

In this paper,an improved efficient stereo matching algorithm based on color and edge information is proposed.Edge information is firstly picked up.Then an algorithm named fill in is exploited to retain the edge information and abandon the textual detail.After that the information is applied which got in first step to improve a globe matching strategy with dynamic programming on grayscale images that transformed from the color image pair.Experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm provides a more robust quality in the area where the gray level are similar but the disparity value are distinct.
