Application of Quadric Exponential Smoothing Model in Short-term Prediction of Traffic Information

We presented a segmental quadric exponential smoothing model which accords with current traffic information by analysing practical traffic information and combining exponential smoothing prediction model.The presented model can calculate smoothing coefficient table based on a full-day traffic jams condition of a certain city,and then predict short-term traffic information by quadric exponential smoothing model.This method gave full consideration to practical condition of traffic information and improved short-term prediction rationality of traffic information.By current traffic information data testing,it shows that this model can meet the accuracy rate for predicting short-term traffic information,it also provided a new method for other short-term prediction of traffic information.
