Research on the Character Area Extraction and Segmentation of Railway Rolling Bearing Signage

Discusses how to choose an available character area of the metallic railway signage image,and adopteds the digital image processing technique to increase the character contrast,focuses on how to choose a appropriate threshold to deal,in order to obtain the request of character information segmentation,provides the foundation for further study on adopting proper graphical character recognition algorithm to identify the content of signage image.
