Image Impainting with Curvelet Transform

Image impainting is an important research in the area of image restoration.Its objective is to restore the lost data in original image.In order to restore destroyed image,a curvelet transform is used,which is an efficient directional method to realize multi-resolution image representation and behaves much better than the wavelet transform in capturing fine details such as the edge and the texture.The TV regularity in this paper is directly imposed on the curve-let domain.The method is well fit for impainting images with geometric features,especially restoring the edge.
