Research on Router Based Network Congestion Control Strategies

With the rapid growth of the Internet, much attention has been drawn to congestion control problems. TCP has been playing an important role in congestion control, while router is the center of the Internet and is more sensitive to network states. In order to control the network more efficiently, the router should also take some corresponding measures, this paper discusses some congestion control schemes on the router, and analyses their virtues and shortcomings.
