Precise measurement of code phase is an important precondition to ensure precise pseudorange in GPS receivers. On the basis of analysis of some fining methods of code phase measurement advanced by former researchers, two new fining methods of code phase were put forward.Their principles and the ways to realize them were stated.By Monte-Carlo simulation in the computer, some results, such as the mean values and variances of the code phase, were acquired, and the effects of these methods were compared and analyzed in several aspects, including accuracy, precision and tracking performance. Finally the conclusion was drawn. The accuracy and tracking performance of the fining method by generalized extended approximation are the best, and the precision of the fining method by LS(Least Square) fitting is highest. The two new methods have great advantages over the other methods.
