Design of open Ethernet controller based on PROFINET

To fit the requirement of the future industry control areas,an open IE controller based on industrial Ethernet——PROFINET is designed,which combines the streamlined TCP/IP protocol stack——Lwip,the embedded web server is achieved.To accomplish the dynamic data interactive function of the server,a new embedded gateway interface(EGI) is proposed.Through Siemens's open IE protocol,the designed Open IE controller that communicating with Siemens PLC is achieved.The efficiency and feasibility of the controller is demonstrated by the message,which provides a foundation for developing the PROFINET IO devices.
