Application of catastrophe theory in the analysis of the support stability in deep foundation pit

According to the engineerig features of the support in foundation pit,it takes catastrophe theory to analyze single support stability,sets up the sharp point catastrophe model of single support and bifurcation equation,researches the influence of each parameter to the support stability,on the basis of which it puts forward a new method to ascertain the critical state of single support.
