Nowadays, UML is an object-oriented analysis and design modeling language. It is an important modeling tool. It allows sys-tem developers to use standard and clear way for expressing the correct and complete understanding ofsystem. And it is beneficial to con-duct effective communication and sharing in the development team. In software development, the use of UML for Teaching Materials Man-agement System modeling can shorten development period, reduce lines of code and improve maintainability of system.
