Research on Structured P2P Network

The structured P2P system adopts routing algorithms which support a distributed hash table(DHT) functionality,locates and searches data objects by precise keywords..This paper introduces two structured P2P system successively: CAN and Chord.The construction and the routing algorithms and the process of peers entering and leaving the P2P system are analyzed,and several improvements for CAN and Chord are also discussed in detail.Finally,this paper points out the problems and inadequaly of the structured P2P system.
