PREVENTION COUNTERMEASURES OF THE TYPICAL SAND-SLIDING SLOPE ALONG THE TIANSHAN HIGHWAY

Sand-sliding slope posed a main geological disaster during the highway construction in mountain areas of the west China.Due to ambiguity of formative mechanism of sand-sliding slope,countermeasure employed at p resent could not control the disaster,and some measures even aggravated destruction of slope.By means of investigation and study of typical sand-sliding slope along Tianshan Highway,taking the K612+750~K613+850 section of especially big sand-sliding slope group as the example,the authors explained the constitutive features of sand-sliding slope,and analyzed its disaster formative mechanism.Finally,some proper control countermeasures were researched against disaster of sand-sliding slope.
