The Parallel Programming Implementation of Finite-Difference
Wei Wang · Microcomputer applications · 2008
The finite-difference approximation is an important numerical method;it's widely used to solve partial differential equations. This article firstly introduce difference scheme of Laplace equation in two-dimension field and present the core of the serial program. Then we discussed how to deserialize the serial program in order to improve compute efficiency in massively compute problems.MPI(Message Passing Interface)is one of the standards of parallel programming.Virtual process(MFI_PROC_NULL)is an imaginary process in MPI environment;it can simplify the communication function in MPI programming. In this article we used virtual process to write program finally present the parallel program of fmite-difference.
