Comparative study on γ energy spectrum denoise by fourier and wavelet transforms

This paper introduces the basic principle of wavelet and Fourier transforms,applies wavelet transform method to denoise γ energy spectrum of ~(60)Co and compares it with Fourier transform method.The result of simulation with MATLAB software tool shoshowed that as compared with troditional Fourier transform.Wavelet transform has comparatively higher accuracy forγ energy spectrum denoising and is more feasible to γ energy spectrum denoising.
