Study of IP over Re-configurable WDM Networks' Characters

IP over WDM has been the hot topic that widely was being discussed in the IT field, and becoming the factual criterion of the Next Generation Internet (NGI). This paper firstly reviewed and expected the technology of IP/WDM. Then it emphasized to analysis the characters and merits of the IP over re configurable WDM networks, in order to point the correct direction for the NGI development.
