The information about the operation of water supply, power supply and aggregate systems during the construction of the Three Gorges Project (TGP) is acquired and processed mainly by the Information System for Temporary Structures Infrastructures (ISTSI) on the TGP site, and provided timely and widely to the customers, managers and decision makers. The information system, based on web technique, Active technique and ORACLE data base, etc., confirms to the design requirements and development direction of the modern information management technology, and can meet the needs for acquiring, issuing and browsing over the information about the operation of the temporary works and infrastructures.
