Guttman Scalogram and its development

Guttman Scalogram is a deterministic model proposed by socialist Louis Guttman in 1944.It is the theoretical basis of the probabilistic models and item response theory,such as Rasch and so on.This paper briefly reviews the basic hypothesis and development of Guttman Scalogram,including the basic model,data structure,determination,test methods of the project characterization and unidimensional,and introduces the theory of Guttman Scalogram data analysis with concise data for instance.The author also hopes to provide some reference for related researches.
