It gives a survey of the literature about the research in recently on the Event based knowledge processing from the definition of event,the representation of event,the extraction of event to the application of event-based method.Many scientists think event accords with human normal cognitive rules and is the basic unit of human cognition.So it has wide foreground and will extend concept based knowledge processing techniques largely.
