Construction of Simulation Framework for Service Discovery Protocols in GloMoSim

Network simulation is a basic technique for researching on network technologies,including service discovery protocol for Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks(MANETs).However,no network simulator widely available nowadays provides the framework for service discovery protocol simulation.This paper demonstrats the method of constructing simulation framework for service discovery protocols using GloMoSim,including the extension of GloMoSim’s node layer model,message transmission type,as well as global simulation statistics.It is a reference for researchers to adapt GloMoSim to their special simulation requirements.
