Research and Application Situation of High Oil-absorbing Resin

The development of high oil-absorbing resin at home and abroad was summarized.The high oil-absorbing resin with low degree of cross-linking by suspension polymerization and its preparation method and synthesis progress were mainly introduced.Meanwhile,the mechanism of oil absorption was discussed.The application of high oil-absorbing resin in the fields of environmental protection,aromatics,pesticide,additive for paper and filter tip,the oiling modifiers for rubber and modification additive for synthetic resin and so on were narrated.At last,the development prospect of high oil-absorbing resin was viewed.
