Research of Water Conservation Geographic Information Service Cloud Platform

Now water conservancy applications based on GIS have the problem of disorderly distributed storage for huge amounts of data,difficult platform construction and the large demand of concurrent access. To solve these problems,the combination of GIS and cloud computing is considered,to build water conservancy geographic information service platform.GIS has the features of flexibility,multi-tenant model,easy maintenance and other features. And GIS has features as unified platform for data management,facilitate spatial data storage,sharing high,and has been widely used in water conservancy informationization. From the basic theory of Cloud GIS,combining with three service models of virtualization technology and cloud,and selecting Cloud Stack as cloud platform,the prototype design of Water Conservancy Geographic Information Service Platform of Jiangsu Province is proposed. It initially realizes the water resources information sharing mechanism,aiming to explore a feasible path for the future of GIS construction in water conservancy industry.
