Preliminary exploration on drying property of wood bunch of China fir

In this paper, experimental study on drying efficiency and energy consume of China fir's wood bunch was performed in a circular hot-air dryer. The results showed that the wood bunch can be quickly dried using high temperature and low humid air medium. The predrying of the wood bunch before drying can raise efficiency and save energy. It is better that drying temperature can be controlled at 140℃-160℃, and air velocity can be controlled at 3m/s.
