Research and Implementation of Fault-Tolerant Event Service Based on CORBA

CORBA Event service provides decoupted, asynochronous communication between suppliers and consumers. The CORBA specifications do not address reliability or fault-tolerance issues. This paper discussesthe method of implementation of fault-tolerance CORBA Event service using object replication technology. Now fault-tolerance Event service based on this mothod has been used in one distributed power monitor system, which proves this method is feasible.
