The Coal Mine Safety Monitoring System Based on the Integration of RFID with WSN

This paper introduces RFID and WSN technology and designs a coal mine safety monitoring system based on the inte gration of RFID with WSN for coal mine safety in production of our country.RFID technology is used to position and identify target objects and the WSN is used for environment monitoring,such as gas concentration,air humidity,pressure so on and data transfer.Two sorts of technology are complementary and co-existing,which can efficiently solve the problem about RFID data transmission in the coal mine,find the hidden dangers in time in the pit,and quickly look for the missing miner if Mining acci dents take place.
