Aircraft Collision Avoidance Trajectory Planning Based on MILP
Yong Shi · Flight Dynamics · 2005
A mixed-integer linear program(MILP) method is presented to find optimal trajectories for aircraft avoiding collisions. An aircraft is approximated here as a 2-D point mass, moving with the limited speed and turning rate. A minimum time problem is be combined with collision avoidance constraints to form MILP. Two simulations have been given to show that approximate modeling is valid.
