The main applications of chaos theory in hydrology system focus on the chaos identification of the hydrologic time series and the model study of the hydrology chaos forecast.This paper emphasized on discussing the advanles of chaotic analysis in the hydrology application field.It is worth analyzing chaotic characteristic of ocean waves and seeking a new method of wave forecast.
