Study on Technology Framework of Integrated Architecture Driven Simulation Application

Architecture based development approach of weapon simulation system is a solution for dealing with the problems of model semantic interoperation and the creditability of evaluation result. DoDAF is the advanced alternative specification standard for supporting it. The technology framework of integrated architecture driven simulation application followed by DoDAF version 1.0 is proposed in the paper. In order to make full use of the DoDAF model information in the artifact, the automatic and semi-automatic approaches are adopted to fill those elements into application entities to drive simulation operation. And then the deficiencies of data-driven and model-driven patterns are analyzed. Finally the key technologies of meta-model driven method for implementing the framework are put forward.
