Research on SAR Image Speckle Noise Reduction Based on Wavelet Transformation

SAR image speckle noise appears periodically, affecting image interpretation. Wavelet transformation has feature of multi-resolution analysis. It uses wavelet transformation to denoise the SAR image speckle based on the analysis of SAR speckle noise model. And gives noise removal performance evaluation. Experimental result shows that wavelet transform has better speckle noise removal.
