The cause analysis and measures of the nursing adverse events

Objective To analyse the cause of nursing adverse events and explore the effective measures in order to reduse nursing adverse events.Methods After reviewing the 117 nursing adverse events happened from 2008 ～ 2011,we analysis those nursing adverse events'type,cause and the situation of the parties.Results The main cause of nursing adverse events are violation of operating rules and system,lack of responsibility and poor service attitude.The type of nursing adverseevents mainly include medication errors,injuries and dropping bed etc.The parties are mainly nurses of low degree and low experence.Conlusion Nursing managers should take pertinence preventive measures based on the cause,type,high-risk groups and departments in order to reduce the nursing adverse events.
