Binary Watermarking Based on Human Vision Properties in DCT Domain

Lin Qi · Microcomputer Information · 2008

Digital watermarking is an approach for copyright protection by a embedding information into digital multimedia. It has be-come an essential way to protect digital copyright. This paper expounds a digital watermarking algorithm based on DCT by using the technology of spread spectrum .The binary watermark is permuted by pseudo-random sequence, then embeds the sequence into DCT domain of the carried image in the term of human visual model. Experimental results show that the algorithm is invisible and robust to common distortions,
