Semantic Mapping Algorithm Between XML Schema and Ontology

Semantic mapping is a fundamental problem for information integration.This paper presents matching algorithms to find mapping between XML Schema and ontology through a new representation format called SchemaGraph.The semantic similarity is calculated as the weighted average of linguistic similarity and contextual similarity.By real Web documents,experimental results show the algorithm's effectiveness and suitability for semantic mapping.
