Security analysis of a threshold shared verification signature scheme

Zhuang De-wen · Journal of Zhejiang University of Technology · 2004

Based on discrete logarithms, a \$(t,n)\$ threshold shared verification signature scheme was proposed in\. The scheme integrated signature scheme with message recovery and threshold scheme. By analyzing the security of this scheme, a key recovery attacking conspiracy by verifier and signature sender is given, this demonstrates that extreme care must be exercised when two cryptographic protocols are combined to design a new protocol; finally an improved measure of resisting such attack is proposed.
