Research on Temperature Characteristic of Quarter-waveplate and its Effect on Fiber Optical Current Transformers

The quarter-waveplate can be made by cutting a fit section of PM fiber.With the change of temperature,the retarders of the quarterwaveplate change also.Using this characteristic the factor of FOT can be compensated,and by measuring the temperature of the senor coil,the Verdet constant can be compensated.The FOT's measurement precision will be improved.
