Application of Delay Prewarning Algorithm in TFRC Congestion Control Strategy

In order to avoid the demerits of large fluctuation of the sending rate for TCP-Friendly Rate Control(TFRC) strategy,a novel improved strategy called delay prewarning algorithm is presented.The prewarning signal is set up at sender to adjust the sending rate adaptively,which makes the sending rate of TFRC flows more smooth when competing with TCP stream.Simulation experimental results show this algorithm can improve the performance of TFRC effectively,and has performance of TCP-friendly and rate smoothly.
