Research on CAE remote informationization service systems based on ASP

In order to solve development application of Computer-aided Engineering (CAE) technical resources for multi-users in networking environment, from the point view of networking technical services and collaborative analysis, a general informationization service architecture under Application Service Provider (ASP) integrated with CAE analysis technology was proposed. According to the architecture, the implementation methodology and the relevant key enabling technologies, such as the collaborative analysis of product structures between multi CAE analysis units, the mechanism of model-transforming agent and the ANSYS Parametric Design Language (APDL) command batch programming etc., were analyzed in detail. Finally, a software prototype of CAE informationization service platform was developed by applying this architecture. Experiments results explained that this method would be helpful for application of advanced CAE technologies at the higher level in all enterprises.
