Load Balancing Techniques of Media Server Cluster in SIP-based Conference System

To the load balancing problem of media server cluster in SIP conference system,the paper analyzes that the number of media resource is the key factor restricting media servers' performance,proposes the surplus service capability algorithm and its improved algorithm based on dynamic feedback.At last,through simulation method,the article verifies that the improved surplus service capability algorithm can not only increase session success rate and reduce average session response time,but also effectively balance the load of media servers in cluster.
