The Study of Image-based Human Body Motion Tracking System

In this paper, firstly, several main methods of motion tracking are discussed, especially the method ofimage-based. Then, the major advantages disadvantages of image-based motion tracking system are listed and the primary aim of building a single camera motion tracking system is given the implementation of human-body tracking without encumbering the user in large workspace. At last, some key technologies, algorithms and their implementations such as camera calibration, image processing, features picking-up, features matching, depth estimate and pose estimate, etc, are introduced.
