On Police Microblogging for Maintenance of Police Image

The setting-up of police microblogging is an ideological emancipation of public security work in China and is an effective way to maintain police image. In general, the police microblogging dispels information asymmetry of the police and the mass, unblock dialogue channel between the police and the mass and responds to the false statements about the police. The microblogging that highlights the police affairs is an idealistic measure and an actual strategy for the maintenance of the police image, the standardization of operation mechanism, the improvement of their dissemination results and a good job of public relation.
