THE NECESSARY SPECIFICATIONS OF A ROAD DETECTING RADAR

As constructions of the road system have been rapidly developing in our country, it becomes crucial to detect the quality of pavement layers and to prospect the defects within road structure for road maintaining. So brought out the emerging technology——ROAD DETECTING RADAR. The ROAD DETECTING RADAR has by far gotten into China for a decade. But its application on road system requires some particularities such as horn-antenna and high rate of sampling to fit the high speed movement, very high resolution power and auto-layer tracing for accurate survey. All of these specifications and principles are described and presented in the paper.
